Freedom Park BMX Raceway

Time to catch some air & take flight at Freedom Park BMX! Join us for beginner lesson & open track practice today during the Wings Over Camarillo Airshow, happening at the Camarillo airport right next to the track! ✈️

Please allow yourself extra time to get to the track and find parking due to increased airshow traffic. Street parking in front of the track is free. You do not need to pay to park in one of the airshow lots to access the track.

Beginner lesson: 4-5pm, $20/rider. Includes open track after the lesson.

Open track practice: 5-7pm, $15/rider.

Riders need their own bike in good working condition, closed toed shoes, and a helmet. No training wheels, pegs, or e-bikes.

Thursday night racing with Summer Heat Series race 6 of 10 🔥

The two Jacksons maintain their position in the top 2 spots of the leaderboard, but there’s still 5 races left and we know it’ll come down to the wire! Our top 10 riders have all raced the series consistently — including one of our newest racers, Kade Nunez, who took a big win on Tuesday to break into the top 10 for the first time this series.

Time to ride with Coach Eric Rupe for his Wednesday clinics at Freedom Park BMX — riders work on gate starts, race strategies, jumping, manualing, and passing all while building confidence on & off the bike. All riders welcome!

Novices: 4:30-5:30PM, $20 cash only.

Intermediates & Experts: 5:30-7:30PM, $35 cash only.

All riders must have a valid USA BMX membership to ride in the Wednesday clinics.

Summer Heat Series week 3 is on deck and the race action keeps getting better and better. Jackson Espersen maintained his lead in week 2 going 4 for 4 with wins, but his last win was also his final one to move up to intermediate — will the door open for a new leader in week 3? 🚨Beginner Lesson is canceled today due to the Bikes & Bands set up & sound check. Beginner Lesson will return next Saturday 8/15. Please spread the word!

🤘BIKES & BANDS Open Track, gates open at 6:30PM. Come ride with live music from local bands! All ages welcome. $15 per rider, $10 balance bikes, $10 spectators (kids 2 & under that are not riding are free!).

We have a new leader going into tonight! Jackson Espersen is the only rider that’s gone 3 for 3 with wins 🏆🏆🏆. We also have some new riders break into the top 10 including our first father/son duo, Eric & Spencer Tostenson, who have raced every race of the series so far. Remember, it’s not all about finish scores - since each rider earns entry points just for showing up to race, you can get in the top 10 without needing to win every time.
