Meet Get-A-Grip rider Paloma Shank!

Paloma has been racing BMX since she was just three years old and joined the Get-A-Grip family in 2023. One thing that's remained remarkably consistent throughout her BMX journey is her success, earning a District 1 title for five consecutive years.

Her favorite place to race is NOVA BMX, where she loves the welcoming community and a track that's "just the right size." When it comes to racing, Paloma prefers class because she enjoys lining up against riders her own age, and she's especially thankful for the encouragement she's received from her favorite mentor, Team Manager Curtis Dowdy.

Paloma is proof that every rider's BMX journey looks a little different. While some riders charge into every obstacle, she's always been happy to tackle new challenges at her own pace, building confidence one step at a time while simply enjoying the ride. Off the track, though, it's a different story. Her fun, fiery personality keeps everyone around her smiling.💜

If Paloma could have any superpower, she'd choose shape-shifting, and if she could eat just one food forever, sushi would be an easy pick.🍣
