I want to express my sincere gratitude to Sensei Gary Goltz, former President of the United States Judo Association (USJA), for his wonderful five-star review of my book, More Than Judo - Lessons from a Lifetime.
Coming from someone who has dedicated so much of his life to the development and promotion of judo, these words carry special meaning.
Gary and I have known each other for decades, and I have always his friendship, leadership, and dedication to our sport.
My goal in writing this book was never just to talk about judo techniques or competition, but to share the values, experiences, and life lessons that judo has taught me over the years.
