What is the one major fitness milestone you aim to accomplish before the year ends?
Mine is getting to 175lb (currently fluctuate between 201-198), decrease body fat while maintaining lean muscle, all while retraining my glutes and building strength back in my quads.

I wish more people realized that an hour of intense weight training does more for your metabolism than an hour of cardio ever will.
That doesnāt mean cardio is bad. Far from it. Both have benefits, and both matter for overall health and performance.
But too many people treat it like it has to be one or the other. It doesnāt.
Lift weights. Build muscle. Improve your metabolism. Do cardio. Improve your heart, conditioning, and recovery.
The answer isnāt choosing one. The answer is understanding how to use both.
When it comes to your workouts and your overall health, strength training is non-negotiable.
I donāt care what else you enjoy doing. Walk, run, bike, play sports, do yoga, take classes, whatever fits your life.
But if you are not doing some form of strength training, you are leaving a lot on the table.
Muscle matters. Strength matters. Bone density matters. Balance, posture, metabolism, injury prevention, confidence, and the ability to move well as you age all matter.
This is not just about looking better.
It is about building a body that can carry you through life with more strength, more independence, and more resilience.
Be smart.
Add strength training to your routine.
A lot can change when you start choosing experiences over pressure.
More sunsets.
More fresh air.
More moments that actually feel real.
I think thatās what this season of life is teaching me most.
Slow down enough to enjoy it.
Whatās been bringing you peace ?

Honor your body.
Some days that means pushing through the āI donāt feel like itā and showing up anyway.
Other days, it means stepping back⦠resting⦠and knowing when enough is enough.
Both are discipline.
Both are strength.
Learning the difference is where real growth happens.
What does your body need today?
You canāt pick where your body loses fat first.
Back, arms, hipsāit doesnāt work like that.
Everyone leans out differently. Some areas go faster, others take time. Thatās just how the body is designed.
But hereās what you can control:
Build muscle in those areas.
Train them. Strengthen them. Develop them.
Because when you pair that with a consistent calorie deficit, you donāt just ālose fatāāyou create shape. You build that finished, defined look people call ātoned.ā
Stop chasing spot reduction.
Start building strength where you want to improve.
That the real plan
Just a little Monday morning Motivation for ya
š£ļø LISTENNN UP!!! Because here's something I want y'all to hear.
If youāre still sitting on your goals, letting excuses take over, Iām calling you out. No more ātomorrow.ā No more waiting for the āperfect moment.ā The time is now.
I mean, if you need some help and guidance, Iām here. But the work? Thatās 100% on YOU.
šš½ Pass this on to someone whoās READY TO ACT.
Ive been quiet. But working! āš¼This year Iām rebuilding my health ā slowly, steadily, and with a whole lot of patience. šš»š®āšØ
Not the loud kind of change that happens overnight⦠but the quiet kind that takes time. Time to undo what stress, hormones, life and seasons can do. Time to support a body thatās been fighting diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apena , migraines and early signs of arthritis in multiple joint ā and still keeps going anyway. It makes the journey harder, but never impossible. šš»
So this year my focus is intention over perfection. Iām showing up for my metabolism with balanced meals, daily movement, strength trainins, better sleep, and stress management. Iām three weeks in and already feeling small but meaningful shifts ā more energy, better mood, better recovery, and a sense that my body is waking back up.
My story ā my family history, the health battles, the hormones, the loss and the preventative work ā has taught me that I donāt get to take my health for granted. I have to fight for it. Protect it. And trust that Iām not doing it alone.
So no, Iām not giving up.
Not on my body.
Not on my health.
Not on the future Iām working toward.
If youāre somewhere in that tension too ā doing the work, giving it time, grieving the slow parts but still believing ā just know youāre not alone. Slow and steady still gets there.š«¶š» iām right there with you.
