We are so proud to present our 2023 ACWBL ALL-STARS and HOME RUN DERBY PLAYERS. Congratulations to all that were chosen!

ACWBL ALL- STAR Game and Home Run Derby will be played Saturday, July 15th at Desert Ridge High School (10045 East Madero. Mesa, AZ)
There will be a small gate fee as well as concession and a food truck!
SCHEDULE:
Gates open at 3:00 PM with the live batting practice
Home run derby is scheduled to start at 5:45 PM
ALL-STAR Game ceremony starting at 7:25 PM

We are also excited to announce a few special guest appearances which include..
King Of JUCO, Chanterprise, Certified Dude and Tosh! They will all be shooting Momentum’s new YouTube video during the game. So come check out Momentum’s new video AND all our incredible players at the ACWBL all star game TOMORROW. BE THERE!!!! ⚾️☄️

The ACWBL opening night was a success! Temperature was perfect, atmosphere was great and field conditions at Salt River Fields could not have been any better! Huge shoutout to Marshall Jennings and his grounds crew for having the best fields in the state of Arizona! Looking forward to a great season and best of luck to all 23 teams this summer!

Opening night is a day away! Monday night 6 teams face off at 7 pm on the Diamondbacks side at Salt River Fields.

Welcome everyone to the 2023 Arizona Collegiate Wood Bat League season. We are excited to be entering our 20th season and we believe this will be our best yet!

We have some important dates to announce:

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​June 1st: Registration closes and team rostering begins.

June 13th: 2023 season begins with all teams playing.

July 3rd & 4th: We will take both days off which means a 5-day break in the middle of the season from June 28th - July 4th.

July 24th-28th: This week will be our single elimination playoff tournament to end the season.

With our registration coming to a close on June 1st and the rostering process starting immediately after, coaches should start reaching out to players shortly after June 1st. If you are traveling from out of state please plan on being in AZ before June 13th as that will be the first day for everyone.

Fields

We will be using Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. These are the fields used by the Dbacks and Rockies for spring training. The address is 7555 N Pima Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85258.

We will also use Legacy Sports Complex. These fields are located in Mesa and do require our players to use plastic cleats or turfs. The address is 6321 S Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ 85212.

Schedule

Games will be played Monday-Thursday except in the case of a make-up game or on the 4th of July week. Games are all played in the evening at 5:00 PM or 7:30 PM. Games will all be free to attend for the entire summer!

THE ARIZONA COLLEGIATE WOOD BAT LEAGUE IS TURNING 20 YEARS OLD IN 2023!

We are celebrating our 20th summer of college baseball this upcoming 2023 season! Back in 2003 the ACWBL only consisted of 6 teams. This past summer (2022) we had 21 teams! How it has grown over the past 2 decades! The best part is we are now getting 2nd generation players from players that played years ago. They are now dads and their kids are now experiencing the ACWBL tradition.

Our goals have always been the same model year after year- get players as many reps (Ab's or Innings) as they possibly can and help players continue their baseball careers through college or pro baseball. Over the years of thousands of players, we have helped place ones with no options for schools find a place. This will always be a goal of ours. We have also had the joy of having numerous players find careers in MiLB and ones that have made it to the big leagues. It is amazing to see and looking forward to seeing the next ones that make it!

The ACWBL will be upping our game this upcoming 2023 summer! We are teaming up with a Digital Communication group that will be providing all the social media, video, stats, and other technology that is very important for players, coaches, schools, families, etc. We are extremely excited to be put on the map in comparison to other summer leagues. More info will be out of the specifics as we get closer to the summer season.

The 2023 summer will be here before we know it and we cannot wait to have the new group of competitive players back on the diamond. We have locked on our locations again for next summer- Salt River Fields in Scottsdale and Legacy at Bell Bank Park in Mesa. Two great facilities that are hard to beat. The season will start in early June and finish at the end of July. Plenty of games to be played throughout the 2 months!

It’s almost game time for the ACWBL! Opening night is Tuesday the 23rd for 6 teams that were randomly selected to open the season. These 3 games will be at 7 pm at Salt River Fields. The remaining 18 teams will be starting Wednesday the 24th. The ACWBL is extremely focused on keeping all players, coaches, staff, trainers, fans etc safe from the spread of Covid-19. We are enforcing the CDC guidelines and will continuously be reminding players to abide by the social distancing recommendations as much as possible. We want this summer to run as smoothly as possible because so many players are just wanting to get back on the field again!

In regards to fans/parents/friends, please follow the recommended Covid-19 guidelines and try keep your distance from people not in the same household. We will be using bleachers for players so they can have the chance to socially distance, so the bleachers will NOT be available to fans. Please bring your own chairs, umbrellas, sunblock and masks. We want fans and parents to be able to come and watch, but we also want to keep all of players and coaches as safe as possible.

The Arizona Collegiate Wood Bat League is looking forward to the start up of the summer season the week of June 22nd! We are starting a little later than normal due to the Covid-19 virus, but excited to get started. So far we have a ton of teams and the competition is looking like it will be one of the best ACWBL’s summer season yet! We are still accepting registrations for both position players and pitchers. It’s great to see baseball into the full swing of things! Can’t ask for better sights, sounds and smells of being on the diamond. The ACWBL Staff is wishing all a successful 2019 spring season. Just a reminder, but summer baseball is right around the corner and don’t want anyone to miss out of playing some competitive baseball in the wonderful Az summer 😜. 2019 league fees have a slight increase this year due to increasing costs to the overall operations. It will be $850 for a position player and only $275 for a pitcher only. BUT, we are going to be running our final special before we go to the full fee. Position player fee will be $700 and pitcher only fee will be $200, until April 15th (Tax day 😬). Just visit site below to get registered.
