Our annual ChYC Open Regatta kicks off Friday, July 17th with racing on the 18th & 19th. No boat? No problem- charters available through Charleston Community Sailing!

2026 Fleet Commissioning is in the books!

We shared boats, beverages, and bites, but most importantly, we kicked off the 2026 boating season with a spectacular day of celebrating Charleston Yacht Club and its members.

Thank you to all who made our 4th annual ChYC Women’s J/105 Regatta a success last weekend! While the wind did not cooperate resulting in only one race, our volunteers put a very nice event together. Team Rumfront, helmed by ChYC Member Katie Mallory, took first place with ChYC members Ali Hall, Katie Williamson, Megan Tracy, & Alicia Cameron alongside Emily Alfortish and Frannie McKenzie. Many thanks to our PRO, Andi Hoffman, photographer Joel Bays, and Race Committee- we so appreciate your time and skills!

ChYC’s annual Women’s J/105 Regatta is today!
The weather looks beautiful for sailing and spectating, and members are welcome to join the festivities and awards at the club after racing. Good luck today, ladies- we hope it’s an exciting day on the water!
