Today, two of our own faced off on the field—but what makes it even more special is the bond they built long before they were ever opponents. Through their time with me, they pushed each other, grew together, and built a friendship that goes far beyond the lines of competition.

Now competing at the next level, it’s a full-circle moment that reminds us what this is all about—development, opportunity, and relationships that last well beyond the game.

Proud of these two for representing themselves and everything they’ve worked for. The future is bright. 💪

Kenney Earns Rookie of the Week Honors - UMass Dartmouth PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East has announced its weekly softball honorees and UMass Dartmouth student-athlete Brielle Kenney has been honored as the conference's Rookie of the Week. A true competitor and leader, Sophia wrapped up an outstanding career at Tufts University, showing what hard work, consistency, and passion can achieve.

And this year’s award came with a special touch — they finally gave her a lefty glove! 🙌

We couldn’t be prouder of how she’s represented herself, her team, and all the young pitchers who look up to her. Three straight Gold Gloves… that’s what dedication looks like! 💪💙

Her consistency, durability, and competitive fire are unmatched. We couldn’t be more proud of the impact she’s made both on and off the field.
