By the end of the week, the shop and the car might look like saddles have just fallen from the sky like confetti BUT we are so grateful for our wonderful clients who trust us with their horses and their tack for fitting, sales, repair, and cleaning. We got to see so many special horses this week and ended up with some pretty cool new saddles in for resale to be posted soon. Outside of the “business part”, we watched videos of kids jump rounds and squealed at their smiles and perfection, looked at a set of radiographs for a horse and cried a little with the owner at the findings, got introduced to a hamster who hangs out in the barn, chatted about sources for the best breeches and socks, held a horse we’d never met for a farrier we’d never met because the owner had to run pick up a sick kid from school, got handed flowers from an end of summer garden, received one perfect poblano pepper, a warm cup of coffee, a couple really good hugs, and a to-go container full of squash and leek stuffed shells. Horse people are the best people and we love working with you ❤️🐎❤️
