Keegan has been A fighter of Lyme disease for about a year now… We figured out what it was approximately eight months ago.
Her new normal is filled with figuring out when she’s going to get her supplements and medicine in…
From the outside you would think she looks great:
What you don’t see is the constant brain fog, chronic fatigue, headache that doesn’t go away,
The insomnia, poor short term memory...&
Trying to find happiness and joy when her brain and “mood” center has literally been under attack.
She’s such a strong kid.
Unreal to talk to and listen to.
Very driven and determined.
Has a phenomenal ability to read people
And even though it’s been a year since she competed in volleyball, she’s one of the most enjoyable kids I’ve ever coached

Her mom, Nola Farley O'Keefe, spends the majority of her day planning Keegan’s schedule and learning about Lyme and recovery.
She carries a heavy weight daily (& has 6 more kids and a balding husband;-) she’s truly remarkable
