Xavier Women's Club Volleyball

A huge congratulations to the seniors, Class of 2022, for graduating last weekend! You all have made a huge impact on the club over the past 4 years. From dominating the court as freshman, to being strong leaders during the Covid-19 pandemic, and taking a complete fresh team to Phoenix for Nationals, the program will miss you so much ❤️ We hope you all succeed in your future endeavors and, if you find yourself back in Cincinnati, come visit us in the gym.

Name: Lucielle Holliday
Hometown: Raleigh, North Carolina
Position: DS/Libero

Lu graduated this past weekend with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies! She was a member of the club volleyball team for 4 years and was an active and empowering leader to her teammates. Lu was part of the ROTC program at XU. She has accepted an education delay from the US Army to pursue her law degree and serve as an officer in the judge advocate generals corp. We love you and wish you the absolute best, Lu!

Name: Olivia Rougraff
Hometown: Indianapolis, Indiana
Position: Right Side Hitter

Liv graduated this past weekend with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing! She has been a member of the club volleyball team for 3 years and was a fun and active leader and teammate. Liv’s plans are to return to Indianapolis to pursue her nursing career at St. Vincent Hospital on the cardiac unit. We love you Liv! You’re always welcome back and we wish you the best!

Name: Julia Scholl
Hometown: Columbus, Ohio
Position: Libero

Julia Scholl graduated from Xavier University this past weekend with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Julia has played volleyball for 14 years and will be returning next season, 2021-2022, as the club volleyball coach. Julia's future plans are to take a gift year in Cincinnati and pursue a Physician's Assisting graduate program.

"I am very thankful for this club team and the friendships that I have gained along the way. This team made fall in love with the sport all over again and I will carry the memories I made with this team for the years to come. I am honored to return as a coach next season, but I am more excited to help my friends return to tournaments and competing after this unprecedented time."

We've had a great second semester so far this year! Our A team took second place at Louisville and won silver this past weekend in Dayton!

We're looking forward to hosting our first tournament in the HUB on March 28th and then heading to Kansas City for nationals in April 🙌🏼⚔️🏐
