Congratulations to our Coomer Classique students who all performed so beautifully over the weekend at Universal Ballet Competition Dayton. Every dancer brought something special to the stage, making it such a beautiful and inspiring experience to watch.

Not only did our students place in every category we entered but we were also honored to receive the Outstanding School Award. This is a credit to our hardworking students, teachers, and the commitment from our families. We are so proud and thrilled to have started the season so well and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Special thank you to Universal Ballet Competition for providing our students with this performance opportunity, recognizing their hard work and dedication and offering so many wonderful scholarships.

Thank you •Ruth Arnold• for all your help over the weekend, and for taking some beautiful photos.

Contemporary Wednesday

Slide 1 - Prix de Lausanne contemporary selection 2023 “Becomings” choreographed by Wayne McGregor. Taught by Isabelle Beatrice Wilwayco for the advanced level (night) contemporary class.

Slide 2 - original combination taught by Kasey Weinfurtner to our contemporary (day) class.

We love how both our teachers are exploring contrasting approaches to movement and expression helping to further develop our students.

For the first month of the season we focused on helping our students understand the science behind correct pelvis and weight placement, students stop forcing the movement— allowing the dancer to work efficiently.
