Today’s Dark Territory Letterman and Trivia Question of the Day features former Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who lettered for the Tigers from 2010-2012 and earned All-American honors in 2012.

Affectionately known as “Nuk” by the Clemson faithful, Hopkins was a standout athlete at Daniel High School in Central, South Carolina, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track & field.

Hopkins made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2010, playing in all 12 games and recording 52 receptions for 637 yards and four touchdowns.

During his junior season in 2012, he emerged as one of the top receivers in college football, hauling in 1,405 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns, which ranked second nationally that season.

In his final game as a Clemson Tiger, Hopkins delivered one of the greatest performances of his career.

Against LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, he caught 13 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns, including the clutch fourth-down reception from Tajh Boyd that extended Clemson’s game-winning drive. Hopkins finished the season earning First-Team All-ACC honors.

The Houston Texans selected Hopkins with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Today’s Dark Territory Letterman and Trivia Question of the Day features former Clemson kicker and punter Chris Gardocki, one of the greatest specialists in Tiger history.

A consensus All-American in both 1989 and 1990, Gardocki was one of the nation's most versatile special teams players.

As a junior in 1989, he ranked fourth nationally in punting and tied for fourth in placekicking, becoming just the second player in NCAA history to finish in the top 10 nationally in both categories during the same season—and the first player ever to accomplish the feat twice.

He also set a Clemson record by making 72 consecutive extra points without a miss, finishing his collegiate career a perfect 72-for-72 on PAT attempts.

In 1990, Gardocki tied the ACC record with a 57-yard field goal against Appalachian State.

Following his junior season, he entered the 1991 NFL Draft and was selected in the third round by the Chicago Bears.

Gardocki went on to enjoy an outstanding 16-year NFL career, earning First-Team All-Pro honors with the Indianapolis Colts in 1996.

He was named to Clemson's Centennial Team in 1996 and was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.

Today’s photo features Dr. I.M. Ibrahim, widely regarded as the Father of Clemson Soccer and the first coach in Clemson history—regardless of sport—to win two NCAA National Championships.

Ibrahim founded the Clemson men's soccer program in 1967 and guided the Tigers for 28 seasons before retiring following the 1994 campaign.

Under his leadership, Clemson became one of the premier soccer programs in the nation.

Today’s Dark Territory Letterman and Trivia Question of the Day features former Clemson defensive lineman Brentson Buckner, who lettered for the Tigers from 1990-1993 and is a member of the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame.

Buckner was one of Clemson's most dominant defensive linemen, finishing his career ranked among the top five in school history in both tackles for loss (46) and sacks (22).

He also earned Defensive MVP honors in Clemson's Peach Bowl victory over Kentucky.

Today’s photo is an aerial view of the Clemson campus on a football game day in 1966.

One of the first things you'll notice is the amount of game-day parking located in the area where the baseball and softball complexes stand today.

You can also spot the neighborhood of prefabricated homes that once occupied the site where Littlejohn Coliseum would later be built.

The campus has changed dramatically over the years, making photos like this a fascinating glimpse into Clemson's past.
