Quick reminder…. Day passes are $5 , a week pass is $15. Everyone who does not have a membership will need to purchase one of the two. We offer these passes during staffed hours only, because the visitor needs to sign a waiver of liability to use the facility.

Head Baseball Coach Announcement

Tarkington ISD is proud to announce Jake Taylor as the next Head Baseball Coach of the Longhorns.

A 2013 graduate of Tarkington High School, Coach Taylor knows firsthand what Longhorn Baseball means to this community. After returning home to coach, he has faithfully served Tarkington as Assistant Baseball Coach and Middle School Boys Coordinator, investing in our student-athletes and helping build the foundation of the program.

Prior to returning to Tarkington, Coach Taylor coached at Gorman ISD, where he helped lead the baseball program to a Regional Semifinal appearance, before continuing his coaching career at Granbury ISD.

Coach Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2020 and is committed to honoring the tradition of Longhorn Baseball while continuing to build a program centered on character, discipline, accountability, and excellence.

Please join us in congratulating Coach Taylor on this well-earned promotion as Head Baseball Coach. We are excited for the future of Longhorn Baseball.
