✨✨ What a moment to be a baseball fan! ✨✨

More importantly, what a moment to be part of a team!

Seeing the Milwaukee Brewers win the World Series shows us exactly what can happen when a group of people trusts one another, and works toward a single goal.🤩🤩🤩

This isn't just a big win for our home team, it’s the ultimate lesson in what makes being on a team so special.

World Series trophies aren't won by a single superstar. They are won in the dugout, in the dirt, and through every small moment where teammates lift each other up.

Here is what the Brewers just showed our kids about the magic of teamwork:

• Every role matters: From the opening day starter to the player cheering loudest on the bench, championships require everyone. 💙

• Trust beats talent: Big plays happen when you trust that your teammate has your back, whether you're turning a double play or backing up an overthrow. 💛

• We pick each other up: When one player strikes out, the next one is ready to step up. Teams don't point fingers; they point the way forward. 💙

🍂🎃 Clyman Volunteers Needed! Help Us Close Out the Season & Give Back to the Community! 🎃🍂

As another successful season comes to an end, we're looking for volunteers to help us get Clyman Park ready for winter during our Fall Park Clean-Up this Saturday from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

There are plenty of projects for volunteers of all ages, and every helping hand makes a difference! Whether you can stay for four hours or just stop by for a little while, we'd love to have you join us as we put the park to bed for the winter months.

✅ Get a head start on your 2027 volunteer hours
✅ Help keep Clyman Park looking its best
✅ Thinking about learning more on what makes Clyman such a special place or looking for ways to get involved in your local community!

In addition, we're excited to once again participate in the Watertown Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 10th and are looking for a few volunteers to help represent the Clyman Program.

This incredible event supports the Watertown and Ixonia Food Pantries and welcomes nearly 800 attendees each year. We provide all the candy and decorations, and we're simply looking for a few volunteers willing to help hand out treats, meet families, and showcase what makes the Clyman baseball and softball community so special.

These events are only possible because of the amazing support of our families, players, coaches, and volunteers. Thank you for considering lending a hand!

Why Are We So Passionate About Supporting Local Businesses?

Because local businesses are the heartbeat of our communities.

When organizations like the Clyman Canners need support, it is often local business owners and their customers who step up to make a real difference. Time and time again, Jahnke's Piggly Wiggly has shown what it truly means to invest in the communities they serve throughout Dodge County Wisconsin.

The Clyman Canners believe our role goes far beyond baseball and softball. We are committed to providing a safe, organized, and development-focused program that helps create meaningful experiences for kids and families. Children only get one chance to be kids, and parents only get one opportunity to make those memories with them. We take that responsibility seriously.

That same commitment to community is something Dan and Jane Jahnke demonstrate every day. Whether it is building relationships with customers in their store or supporting local organizations through their monthly register round-up campaigns, they continually find ways to strengthen the communities around them.

This year, thanks to the incredible generosity of Jahnke's Piggly Wiggly and their customers, the Clyman Canners were honored to receive a $5,000 donation through the store's register round-up program and July silent auction.

These funds will directly support our Village Park bathroom renovation project in Clyman, helping create a better experience for everyone who visits our ballpark for years to come.

We encourage everyone to continue supporting local businesses that give so much back to our communities. And if you have never made the trip to Juneau to visit Jahnke's Piggly Wiggly, you are truly missing out on one of the area's hidden gems.

Oh, and the donuts? They're worth the trip all by themselves. 🍩❤️

This is something we can all get behind... Building a Better World. ❤️

Dominic had a way of making everyone around him see life through a brighter lens. His kindness, joy, and unique perspective left a lasting impact on so many people, and his legacy continues to inspire others every single day.

What the Dominic Leija Build A Better World Memorial has done for children and families affected by autism is truly remarkable. They have created more than programs and opportunities, they have created a sense of belonging, acceptance, and hope. Those are values that make our communities stronger and better for everyone.

Creating a place where every child and every family feels seen, valued, and included is at the heart of what we strive for each day. We are grateful for organizations like this that are making a real difference and continuing Dominic’s mission of building a more understanding and compassionate world.

Sports give us some of our greatest memories — and sometimes, our toughest moments.

Unfortunately for the Clyman Canners, the last two games were the latter. The season came to an end after an unbelievable comeback, climbing out of a 9–0 hole after five innings to force extras before falling to the Kewaskum A's Baseball. Congratulations to the A’s, who have now gotten us at this stage two years in a row.

This season brought a big shift for our team, with a youth movement blending in alongside our core group of experienced veterans. That mix has been the Canners’ recipe for success for nearly four decades. We love seeing the young guys learn from those who’ve been in the game a long time — and we love the energy, enthusiasm, and pure love of baseball the younger players bring.

Maintaining a high level of success at any level is incredibly difficult, but we’re fortunate to have an amazing support system both on and off the field.

Thank you to our players for sacrificing personal time all summer to represent Clyman. We already can’t wait to get back at it in the spring.

Thank you to our behind‑the‑scenes crew who make sure the field is ready, the b**r is cold, and the players have everything they need to uphold the standard of excellence. Lehmo, Neal, Fitz and our Clyman Diamond Club Board — none of this happens without your commitment to keeping this tradition alive.

And finally, thank you to our fans. Whether at home, on the road, or online, your support is incredible. The Rock River Baseball League is a hidden gem with a rich history, and the playoff baseball that gets put on the field is worth every bit of that $3 admission. Playing in front of a fan base like ours is a huge part of sustaining success.
