What an incredible blessing it was to be able to share my story with KKTV 11 News in hopes to help others. 💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It’s simply not enough to just teach self defense. This is so much more complicated than that. It begins with a belief that you are worthy and worth defending. Love should NEVER be manipulated, controlled or coerced and it sure as heck should never include physically hurt.
Thank you, Lindsey Boetsch of KKTV, for honoring survivors of abuse so beautifully! Thank you also to my BJJ ladies for being part of this! ♥️ I hope and pray some of you out there were encouraged and know that you are not alone.
The link is shared to the bio for those that would like to watch. ☺️🙏🏼
