Congrats to alum Nick Franklin on this outstanding recognition!

It is our pleasure to present the first annual Richard J. Fiala Award. Sub-titled “Living the Game,” this award recognizes the Metro Collegiate player who best exemplifies the focus and commitment Mr. Fiala brought to the game. This year’s recipient,
Nick Franklin plays for Lewis and Clark Community College, and is the starting catcher for the Metro Rascals. Roundly considered to be the heart and soul of his team, he was nominated by his teammates as one deserving of this honor. He is respected for his leadership and hard work, both on and off the field. His enthusiasm and fun-loving attitude keep his team focused, while his passion for the game sets the tone for their success.
