MEET SOPHIE 👋
Sophie Mossa is joining BalletMet as a Company dancer for the 26/27 season. Born in Cagliari, Sardinia, Sophie started dancing at three at Insieme per la Danza, later training at the École Nationale de Danse de Marseille and the European School of Ballet (ESB) in Amsterdam.
At ESB, Sophie had the opportunity to learn works by choreographers including Béjart, Forsythe, Dawson, Bournonville, Ashton, and Kylián. In 2023, she joined Tulsa Ballet's second company, performing in GISELLE, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY, THE NUTCRACKER, DON QUIXOTE, ROMEO AND JULIET, and Ben Stevenson's DRACULA, among others.

MEET ARSENTII 👋
Arsentii Lazarev joins BalletMet as a Company dancer for the 26/27 season, bringing over a decade of international principal experience to Columbus. Born in Siberia, Russia, he began dancing at seven in a folk ensemble before training at the Novosibirsk State Choreographic College.
Lazarev's career has taken him from the Bolshoi Theatre to Principal Dancer with Ural Opera Ballet, where he danced Siegfried in SWAN LAKE, Solor in LA BAYADÈRE, Basilio in DON QUIXOTE, and Albert in GISELLE. Most recently, he served as a Principal Dancer with World Ballet Company.

MEET MILA 👋
Mila DeCola has been a member of the BalletMet family since she started dancing at the when she was 4 years old. In 2024 she was promoted from Trainee to BalletMet's second company, BalletMet 2, where she performed throughout the season with the Company.
She has performed in several works including the principal role in George Balanchine’s DIVERTIMENTO NO. 15, Gerard Charles' THE NUTCRACKER, Edwaard Liang's ROMEO AND JULIET, and more.

Originally from South Korea, DaYoung trained at Moscow's Bolshoi Ballet Academy before the Oklahoma City Ballet as a principal dancer. As an acclaimed choreographer and rehearsal director, her works have captivated audiences nationwide.
