Another former Classic continuing to make an impact on the game. ⚾️

Congratulations to Cam Benoit as he heads into his first season as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Coker University!

A Dayton native, Cam played collegiately at Walsh University before beginning his coaching career there. During his time on the Walsh staff, he worked with the infielders and baserunners, assisted with recruiting, video analysis, scouting, and player development.

Now, he takes the next step in his coaching career at Coker for the 2026–27 season.

We love seeing former Dayton Classics players stay in the game and use their experiences to help develop the next generation.

Congratulations, Cam! We’re proud to have you representing the Classics.

From the Dayton Classics to professional baseball — and continuing to make his mark.

Congratulations to former Classic Boston Smith on being named the Seattle Mariners Minor League Co-Hitter of the Month! ⚾️

Boston finished 4th among all Mariners minor leaguers with a 1.027 OPS, another impressive accomplishment in his professional career.

We’re proud to see a Dayton Classics alum continuing to develop, compete, and represent the program at the professional level.

Congratulations, Boston — keep going!
