Nic from SSK touches on the nostalgic dimple technology on SSK Z5 gloves, inspired by vintage designs. We explore how these features offer a better grip for players of all ages, bringing back a classic feel.

WORLD SERIES BOUND 🚨

Big time congratulations to former Dayton Classics players Nic Bruder and Reid Tinstman on helping Adrian College Baseball punch its ticket to the NCAA Division III World Series after battling past Bethany Lutheran!

Two more guys representing the Classics program the right way at the collegiate level and competing on one of the biggest stages in Division III baseball. Proud of the work, resilience, and consistency both of these guys have shown throughout their journey.

Best of luck in the World Series boys — keep rolling. 👏⚾️

Another group of former Dayton Classics players earning well-deserved recognition at the next level. ⚾️👏

Congratulations to:

Proud of the way these guys continue to develop, compete, and represent the Classics long after their time in our program.

Recognition like this is earned through consistency, preparation, and the willingness to keep pushing forward every single day. Excited to continue following their journeys and all they accomplish moving forward.

Another huge accomplishment for some former Dayton Classics players making noise at the Division I level. ⚾️👏

Congratulations to former Classics players:

🏆 Jake Paulick — Horizon League Player of the Year & First Team All-League
🏆 Patrick Fultz — Horizon League Sportsmanship Award & Second Team All-League
🏆 JP Peltier — Second Team All-League

Proud of the way these guys continue to represent themselves, their families, and their programs at a high level. The recognition is well deserved and speaks to the work they’ve continued to put in long after their time with the Classics.

Success at the college level isn’t accidental — it comes from consistency, toughness, leadership, and continuing to develop year after year. Proud to see these former players earning recognition in one of the top mid-major conferences in the country. 🔥

Not every glove on the market is built the same… and the SSK Z5 is proof of that. 👀

We sat down with Nic from SSK — the new official glove partner of Dayton Classics — to talk about why the Z5 has become such a unique option for players looking for premium feel, quality leather, and game-ready performance without the premium price tag.

If you’ve been searching for a glove that fills a gap nobody else really covers right now… this conversation is for you. ⚾️

Part 4 of our 30th Anniversary Celebration Weekend.

A town hall style conversation about the current state of youth baseball, the challenges players and families are facing, and why Dayton Classics is committed to doing things differently.

Less focus on rankings, politics, and short-term wins.
More focus on development, relationships, accountability, and preparing players for the next level — both on and off the field.

The game is changing.
We believe player development should still come first.

30 years of Dayton Classics.
This weekend is about more than baseball — it’s about the players, families, coaches, and relationships that helped build this program.

We’ll celebrate the past while getting after it on the field with measurable testing, scrimmages, and competition all weekend long.
Let’s get to work. ⚾

Our foundational weekend focuses on intentionally shaping young people. We're partnering with Alice Young Basora and the International Peace Museum to help players develop personal codes of conduct, fostering identity as individuals and athletes.
