At approximately 4:03 PM, Nueces County ESD #2 and CCFD responded to reports of a shooting in the Dollar General parking lot in Flour Bluff on waldron.
π§ Please avoid the area to allow first responders and law enforcement to safely manage the scene. Please use an alternate route if possible.

At 1:05 a.m., ESD #2 and CCFD responded to a reported shooting near Beach Mile Marker 65.
Two patients were treated on scene and transported to the hospital for further medical care.

At 12:47 a.m., ESD #2 and CCFD responded to a small brush fire on Newport Pass Road.
Crews quickly brought the fire under control and extinguished it, preventing further spread. Fortunately, there were no injuries to report.

As the 4th of July approaches the fireworks are coming, Heres an idea, take some tape and write your name and phone number on there and put it around your pets collar. Every year so many dogs and cats are scareοΏΌd away from their homes by fireworks.

A 911 call was received for a reported drowning on the beach Multiple agencies, multiple boats responded including Beach Rescue, CCFD, CCPD, TPW & ESD2. He was located down by the jetty. The current had just taken him away, but he was found to be uninjured.

NAS Fire, CCFD, and ESD 2 responded to a residential fire 1010 Behmann. Units arrived on scene to find an exterior AC unit on fire, with fire in the eve. A quick acting, coordinated team effort kept the fire from spreading and causing extensive damage. There was no injuries to responders or occupants.
There was no home explosion in our area. There was an EMS response for a tire that was overinflated and popped causing trauma to a male. There was no home explosion.οΏΌ
