💜 Celebrating 80 Years of Impact! This past week, our YW Teen Girls Camp continued a decades-long tradition of empowering young women through friendship, leadership, and new experiences. A special thank you to Youth Odyssey for their valued partnership in helping create meaningful memories and opportunities for our girls. ✨

YWCA Day Campers are exploring the art of cordage making. Rainy days are opportunities to try something new. Keep an eye out for their impressive creations! What are you doing/creating during our rainy weather?

🦋🌿 Our YW Teen boys have enjoyed learning about monarch butterflies by planting milkweed, observing cocoons, and witnessing the amazing moment a butterfly takes flight!

YWCA Corpus Christi is partnering with Evolution Training to host a two-day Back-to-School Basketball Camp on July 25-26, 2026.

Open to boys and girls ages 4-18, the camp will be held at YWCA Corpus Christi, located at 4601 Corona Drive.

Camp Schedule

Little Dribblers (Ages 4-6)
10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Elementary Division (Grades 3-5)
12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Middle School Division (Grades 6-8)
3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

High School Division (Grades 9-12)
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Registration Fees

Early Bird Registration (through July 4)
• YWCA Members: $89
• Non-Members: $99

Treasurer Anju Ahuja!

From her roots in Delhi, India, to her active life here in Corpus Christi, Anju is a dedicated volunteer and community champion. With a background in pharmacy and accounting, she brings serious skills and a big heart to local nonprofits like the YWCA, VITA, and the Coastal Bend India Association. When she’s not busy giving back, she loves cooking, reading, and spending quality time with family. Thank you, Anju, for all you do to inspire and uplift our community!

When asked, "What does serving on the YWCA Board mean to you?" She stated,"The YWCA’s mission is close to my heart because it supports people through every stage of life, from empowering preteens and guiding adults to giving seniors a vital place to connect. Ultimately, I volunteer to lead by example for my own kids, showing them firsthand the power of stepping up and giving back to our community"
