Yesterday‘s project made reel seats for upcoming rods. Some lucky dads will get new fishing rods. The types of wood used are maple eucalyptus cocobolo and of course Mesquite

Finishing up projects. Customer is gonna be very happy with this one business logo lasered into Deerhorn reel seat. Had to wait for the rains to disappear  for epoxy work

8 Wt. 9 ft. Rattlesnake and Mesquite reel seat and fighting butt. Buffalo nickel inlaid in fight butt. Made for saltwater heavier stripping guides with snake brand guides. Larger custom grip.

Finished 2 5wt. For trip to California. One for my friend and guide Matthew Nichols said wanted one like I would make for my self. 9ft. 5wt. Rattlesnake and mesquite reel seat and fighting butt. Indian head penny inlaid in fighting butt for luck. Copper name and trim. Can't have to much luck. Even if don't catch anything at least it will look like I know what I'm doing. Even custom socks.
