On Saturday April 11th the Geese hosted the inaugural Damien O’Brien Memorial Tournament, and what a day we had 💛
Whilst we may never be as organised as Damien (🤣), we are confident he would have given us a thumbs up 👍🏼

The day was a huge success with a men’s gaelic football tournament contested between the OC Wild Geese, Setanta of San Diego, and the LA Cougars. There was also the first ever Wild Geese youth game, versus San Diego youth, and a rookie exhibition between the Geese and San Diego.
Well done to La cougars who were victorious 🏆
Well done to the rookie team and the youth teams, both displayed outstanding skills and we are so happy to see Gaelic Football growing in Southern California 🫶🏽
A special thank you to Damien’s wife Michelle and their boys Oscar, Luke & Jack for traveling from Ireland to celebrate Damien and his legacy. Thank you to all of the ‘Donegal crew’ who have become special members of the Wild Geese 🖤💛
We are already looking forward to hosting again next year 🙂
