Because of a recent incident in the local softball world I feel the need to once again remind my students and their parents of one of my rules……

If I find out you’ve been smoking, vaping or doing drugs then you are done with me as a student. There are no second chances with me on this issue. If these are things you are interested in doing then you are not serious about being a competitive athlete. You are not a good teammate. You are not serious about your health which is a huge part of what makes a great pitcher (athlete). You should probably ask yourself what is lacking in your life that causes you to do something that is destructive to your body and maybe talk to someone to get some help.

New personal best for 06 Greiner Girl Gaby McBride!!!! She also banged out 64 on a walk through!!!!

Just now in the NCAA DII Regional, Drury University beat Lindenwood University 1-0 in 14 innings! Greiner Girl Kristina Bettis threw all 14 innings striking out 10 and allowing only 2 hits!!! She is now 24-4!!!

48 hours after brain surgery she is headed HOME!!!!!!

Shout out to these 3 Greiner Girls (09 Makenna Johnson, 2010 Sam Espiritu and 2010 Theresa Hutchcraft)! They helped lead their 12u Chaos team to a 2nd place finish in a 14u tourney this weekend!

04 Greiner Girl Sarah Huber threw a Perfect game today in IL HS ball striking out every batter she faced!!!!!

Chloe Update:

All went very well. She is in recovery and asking for her phone! Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers! Her mom follows both my personal page and my business page.

Chloe was taken back at 11:30am. The surgery prep will take about and hour. They expect the surgery will take 4+ hours.***

**Update on Chloe, she will be having surgery Friday morning to remove a Cavernoma from the lower bottom of her brain. She is in good spirits and should be able to return to normal activities in about 6 weeks.**

Much needed prayers for one of my Greiner Girls. Chloe has a severe Cavernoma or brain bleed. She will be having brain surgery later this week. I will try to keep everyone updated on her status.

Congratulations to 05 Greiner Girl Mikayla Goforth on her verbal commitment to Avila University!

It's official! Congrats to 2022 EHS Graduate Brooke Tolle on her signing with Central Methodist University out of Fayette MO.

It is physically impossible for a right handed pitcher to legally throw a “back door screwball” to a right handed batter. Prove me wrong. 

Next weekend, crews will close I-44 to remove Big Bend Bridge (near Kirkwood) over interstate. Both directions of I-44 to be closed 7 p.m. Friday, April 8 through 5 a.m. Monday, April 11. Big Bend over I-44 to remain closed through August. Details: https://www.modot.org/node/25513

Attention existing Greiner Fastpitch parents….. I am looking to have a French drain installed because we have a leak in our basement at the corner of our house. I’d like to barter it out for pitching lessons. Whatever the cash cost would be I would give you pitching lessons that would be equivalent to that plus A LOT more!
