Help Us Plan the Rest of 2026 at Callihan Equine!

We’ve got lots of fun ideas floating around for the coming months, but instead of trying to squeeze everything onto the calendar, we want to hear from YOU!

What would you or your family actually be interested in attending?

🐴 Holiday Break Camps– Barn fun, horses, activities, and plenty of hands-on learning while school is out!

🧸 Pre-K Horse Camp– A shorter, age-appropriate barn experience for our littlest horse lovers!

☕ Lunch Bunch / Barn Bunch– A little midday escape for adults to unwind, socialize, and enjoy time around the horses.

🎨 Ladies Craft Time– A fun, laid-back gathering for crafting, conversation, and barn time!

🎄 Mom & Kids Christmas Crafts– Bringing back some holiday creativity and special time together!

🏇 Hobby Horse Show– We’ve had quite a few requests for this one! A fun way for our horse lovers to show off their hobby horses!

🍂 Sometimes, a little barn time is exactly what you need.

We have a few rare spots available in our riding lesson program!

From beginners taking their first steps into the horse world to experienced riders looking to continue growing, we welcome both kids and adults.

We also offer opportunities to spend time with the horses without getting in the saddle! Whether it’s grooming, learning about horse care, connecting with the horses, or enjoying a relaxed barn experience with a group, you don’t have to be a rider to enjoy what the barn has to offer.

🎃 BOO AT THE BARN — PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

Can we take a minute to appreciate the creativity that went into this year’s decorated stalls?!

Our barn family absolutely outdid themselves! From spooky to silly, sweet to downright hilarious, every stall had its own personality!

We didn’t have an official decorating contest this year, but we thought it would be fun to let YOU pick a favorite!

🎃Well, y’all certainly showed UP!! 🎃

Our 3rd Annual Boo at the Barn was our BIGGEST one yet, and I don’t think we’ve quite wrapped our heads around the turnout!

We welcomed SO many new faces, saw some familiar ones return, and had the best time watching families enjoy an evening at the barn.

We thought we had enough candy…until we found ourselves making an emergency candy run! 😂

There is so much time, planning, preparation, and a little bit of chaos that goes into putting on an event like this. But looking back at the pictures and seeing our barn filled with families, kids smiling, and people enjoying the horses makes every bit of it worth it.

I think sometimes we get so caught up in the day-to-day of running the barn that we forget to stop and appreciate what we’ve built here. Seeing so many people come through our doors Saturday night was a pretty special reminder.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who decorated stalls, donated candy, helped set up, volunteered their time, and stayed to help clean up. We couldn’t do this without our incredible barn family and the village of people who continue to show up for us. You all helped turn an idea into an evening that so many families got to enjoy.

One of our favorite things about Boo at the Barn is that it’s completely FREE. No admission, no expectations, just an opportunity to open our barn to the community, share our love of horses, and give families a place to make memories together.

To everyone who came out, whether it was your first visit to Callihan Equine or you’ve been with us since the beginning, THANK YOU!

We hope you enjoyed your evening as much as we enjoyed having you. You’ve certainly given us a lot to smile about, and maybe a little more to plan for next year!
