ICYMI- the Salyards Middle School 6th Grade Middle School Matchup - Houston ⚾️ team showed out this weekend. They went 6-0 on the weekend finishing as CHAMPIONS out of 68 teams!!! Congratulations to these young men, Coaches, Fairfield Families, and MVP Adam Pless!!! LETS GOOO BENGALS!!!

The first week of FSA Fall ⚽️, ⚾️, & 🥎 practice is in the books… what was your favorite part of the new season?

*IMPORTANT* Have you ever wondered what these poles are at the FSA Fields? Well those are part of the lightning detection system called Thor Guard. They help keep our athletes, families, and coaches safe by announcing when lightning strikes within 8 miles of our parks. While at the parks if you hear the siren or see the flashing light everyone must vacate the fields and return to their vehicles.

Please remember that the flashing light is the source of truth when it comes to this system. Last night the system detected an electrical disturbance or lightning strike within 8 miles so the system activated. Although the sky was clear and the website showed “all clear” we must vacate the fields when the light is flashing to ensure the safety of our athletes and their families.

We are the process of determining the cause of the miscommunication with the website and will have this resolved shortly. In the meantime if you have any questions please let us know.

The Dream League is a free adaptive baseball program designed for children with physical, developmental, or intellectual challenges. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where every player can build confidence, make friends, and enjoy the game of baseball.

🙋 We’re looking for volunteers!
We’re currently seeking:
⚾ Dream League Coaches – No special baseball experience is required—just a positive attitude, patience, and a heart for helping kids have fun(link in comments).
⚾ Sandlot Buddies (Ages 10+) – Walk alongside a player each game and help them experience the excitement of being part of a team (link to be sent out later).

Whether you’re interested in coaching, volunteering, or know a family who would benefit from the Dream League, we’d love to have you involved!
