This next gentleman’s name was brought up a couple of different times on the Open at Austin DGPT broadcast. He is the youngest person to be inducted into the Texas Disc Golf Hall of Fame, he was formerly known as the Texas Tornado, and some accuse him of being washed up. But he ain’t.

Nolan Grider hit hole 17 good for $230!!! He and his partner Drew Eakins shot -18 as well. This is the first time anyone has shot -18 at any Dynamic Discs Texas event. Congratulations! (No pics because he’s shy).

The Dogwood Cup is this weekend, May 30 in Tyler, TX at Lindsey Park. This is the 6th event on the 2026 Dynamic Discs Dirty Dozen Tour. The Dogwood course is historically one of the hardest disc golf courses in Texas. Playing this course twice for a one day B tier will constantly test even the highly skilled player.

While there is rain in the forecast right now, the event is still a go! We will monitor the weather and send out correspondence to players as needed. All events happening with links to registration can be found below. Hope to see you there!
