Due to inclement weather, Richter Park Golf course will be closed today, Tuesday, July 21st.

The 2026 Danbury Amateur has officially come to a close, and what an incredible two days of competitive golf it was!

Congratulations to all of this year's flight winners and champions for their outstanding performances, including:

Most importantly, thank you to every player, volunteer, sponsor, spectator and staff member who helped make this year's event such a success! The Danbury Amateur is only possible because of the incredible support and dedication of our golf community, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you!

Day One of the 36th Annual Danbury Amateur is officially in the books! Although we battled weather delays throughout the day, we were able to complete the opening round. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we worked through the challenging conditions.

Day One of the Danbury Amateur begins tomorrow, and we're excited to welcome an outstanding field of more than 140 talented competitors to Richter Park!

As you prepare for your round, please note that the Driving Range, Pro Shop and Cafe all open at 5:15am.

To help ensure a smooth start to the event, we ask that all participants arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time. Best of luck! We'll see you on the first tee!

Registration for the 36th Annual Danbury Amateur is OPEN! The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 18th and 19th. The entry fee is $275 and includes cart, greens fees and lunch both days, as well as a registration gift. Deadline to sign up is Friday, July 10th. Don't miss it!

Start with a fun, beginner-friendly golf clinic led by our professional staff. Then enjoy a relaxed few holes with our instructors circulating to provide helpful tips. After golf, unwind with dinner and drinks on the patio at Cafe on the green.
