Happy Trails Farm

In response to the detection of New World Screwworm (NWS) in Texas and New Mexico, Connecticut's State Veterinarian has released an animal movement and restricted entry Order effective July 1, 2026. To date, there have been no detections of NWS in Connecticut.

The Order includes immediate reporting of any suspicious or potential NWS cases to the State Veterinarian and conditional movement restrictions for susceptible species of domestic animals.

Happy 250th Birthday America!!!

A really fun Morgan horse is available for lease by one of our boarders at Happy Trails Farm!!

We held our Working Equitation Clinic for Newtown Bridle Lands Association members today at Hsppy Trails Farm. Ed Prybylski instructed riders on the completion of 12 obstacles according to Working Equitation rules. There were challenges for every horse and rider. All the participants left with many ideas of what to practice to improve their scores.
It was a perfect day - warm sunny temps, beautiful horses and a fun, social lunch following the riding. Thanks to NBLA for offering this program.
