Okay so let’s talk about this. Folk dancing is actually very important. Most of the older ballets have some kind of Mazurka, Tarantula, there are also a bunch from Russia. When we take our RAD exams this is a very important part. Not everyone is going to be a principal dancer. Most dancers have to do these dances. I use to love doing them! There was one that was for doing laundry in Ukrainian folk dance ( yes sounds so strange. But it was actually so fun. It helped us also understand dance history

Fitting pointe shoes is so crazy! So many things to think about. Please make sure if you are going on pointe you get them fit and correct. Yes adults, if you are going on pointe for the first time or even after years off, please get fit

The lovely Emma Hill. I still remember when she was very young and I told her I was a ballet teacher. Little did I know that she would grow to be this ballet goddess! If you are interested in the performance, I will be posting that. Emma you are so gorgeous!

I have not seen dancers since October! Doing my best to be there ! Wishing all of the dancers a wonderful show. Don’t forget to be in the moment and enjoy it! Each show is a gift! So enjoy that gift!
