🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Will Never Forget.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, service members, and countless heroes whose courage and sacrifice showed us what it means to serve something greater than ourselves.

Twenty-five years later, may we continue to remember not only the tragedy of that day, but also the strength, unity, kindness, and love for one another that followed.

Take a moment today to remember. To honor. And to be grateful for those who serve and sacrifice for others.

Plot twist: I don’t. 😂

Some days I’m crushing it. Some days I feel like I’m dropping the ball in every single area of my life.

The “secret” isn’t that I’ve figured out how to do it all. It’s that I have a village. People who help with my kids, my business, my home, and all the things in between.

And if you’re looking around wondering how everyone else seems to be doing it all—they probably aren’t either.

Build your village. Accept the help. Ask for the help. And stop expecting yourself to be everything, everywhere, all at once. 💙

None of us are doing it all alone and we were never supposed to.

❄️ WINTER CLOTHES CHECKOUT! ❄️

Just six weeks before this, he had never swum before. Look at him now💙

Why practice in clothes? Because water safety isn’t just about being able to swim in a swimsuit. Accidental falls into the water can happen while children are fully dressed, and clothing can feel heavy and completely different in the water.

During checkout, he gets the opportunity to use the skills he’s learned while wearing real-world clothing—building confidence and showing that he can swim, float, and problem-solve in the water even when conditions change.

Six weeks ago ➡️ never swam before
Today ➡️ swimming and floating in winter clothes! 🥹👏

This is exactly why we teach these skills. Water doesn’t always come with pool walls, steps, or a lifeguard. Watching those ISR skills show up during real-life adventures is EVERYTHING. 🥹

Four months ago, she had never swam. 💙

Now, after just 17 private 20-minute lessons, she’s water safe and we’re working on stroke development! 🏊‍♀️✨

It’s amazing what consistency, individualized instruction, and a whole lot of hard work can do. So incredibly proud of her progress!

Water safety first. Then we keep building. 💪💦

POV: Small business owner when I’m not teaching swim lessons… 💦🔧

Draining the pool, taking things apart, cleaning, fixing, maintaining, and doing all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running. 😂

Because apparently “swim instructor” also means pool maintenance crew, facility manager, cleaner, scheduler, accountant… and whatever else needs to get done that day. 🤪
