I wasn’t a fan of Busch then, but he had my respect none the less. 2015 was the end of my childhood in NASCAR and the start of a search for someone new. I never thought I would be able to shake both men’s hands. Interview both of them.
Two giants of the sport. One the winningest driver of his era, the other, of all time.
I never thought I’d work around this sport much less meet two legends and actually talk to them. The loss of Kyle Busch hits personally. The guy was always good to me in the media center despite not having FOX or NBC on my polos.
