Luki Bike Adventures

First time riding Legacy and it is a roller coaster! That was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. One of the kids said this was the best experience he’s had this year. It was challenging for most of them, a few had to be pushed to get through (literally for one of them) but it was so fun.

We start today!

Beautiful day in the park getting some bikes tuned for Tuesday’s ride. Thank you so much to Ted's Bike Shop for hooking us up with new colorful cables so each bike can have a custom look. I think Luna is going to LOVE the unicorn vibe.

And the older girls have been absolute beasts both on the trails and on the baagaadowe field and so when they complained about their seats being uncomfortable, I told them that most bikes come with seat designed for boys but there were seats designed specifically for women. Initially they were mad that the default was for boys, but they were excited to hear that I would buy them some seats just for them!

has become a pretty big part of our programming. The kids aren’t just learning a new sport, they are learning about and reclaiming a big part of their . They’re not just playing, they are making sticks too! I’m so proud of us.
