It's Sunday Night with Turner's Take!!

What I thought was going to be a home win over a good LSU team obviously turned out to be the opposite. We got man handled. That score could have been even worse than it was.

We never gave up, but we were never in this game. Can we go pull one off against Ole Miss? Going to be tough, but I'm still believing.

Long weekend and it's late, but War Eagle anyway!!!

It's Sunday Night with Turner's Take!!!

At 14-0 I thought this game was going to be a complete blowout, tbh, I may have thought that before the game even started. On the road, in Athens, #1 team, Xavier not playing, etc. Then we go down by 2 touchdowns. There was just no way to win that game...

But Auburn became Auburn again Saturday afternoon. READ THAT AGAIN. I believe Auburn changed. Does it mean we are back, that we will win every game, of course not. But that should instill confidence in these players. You just beat the #1 team in the Country. We CAN play with anyone.

As bad as I thought this game would go being down 14-0, I was just the opposite when the game came down to Alex kicking a field goal to win it. That guy deserves the success, and his determination is beyond belief. Thanks Alex!!!

This was an incredible team win. I guarantee no one thought Auburn would win down by 2 td's. Their win probablility had dropped to 1.5%. That's basically no chance at all. Congrats Auburn Football, you beat the odds, you beat the #1 team, you beat a rival, you did what no one thought you could do.

Let's follow this up with a win @ Jordan Hare against LSU!!!

It's Sunday Night with Turner's Take!!!

If anyone had to lose, it had to be the Georgia Bulldogs or Alabama. Guess what? The team that I wanted to lose, lost. Spare me the referees, the robbed, the stolen, the blah, blah, blah.

Now it's our time. Let's go to Athens and make a statement. It's a weird year. Let's just go make something happen.

Come on Auburn Football, let's make something happen. I hope #17 is on the field. He's a difference maker.

I didn't do Sunday Night with Turner's Take. We could have won this game. No, we could have. I wanted us to. I really wanted to win this game. I thought it would be a turn the corner type of game.

It wasn't.

It doesn't mean that TT'S doesn't love Auburn Football . It just means we need a signature win. Something showing us that we can play with anyone. We can, we do but we desperately need to win one of these games.

I will never waiver, but if we don't win 1 of these 4 games, has anything changed? Are we improving?

Hey, Turner's Take, i saw the same game as all of you. But Troy University is beating Southern Miss as bad as we did. Auburn shouldn't be Troy, just saying.

Nothing will ever keep me from being Orange and Blue. But we need to show signs of improvement. Enjoy the bye week, get healed and ho beat the Georgia Bulldogs. That would absolutely change the season.

War Damn Eagle my friends, like, follow, block, love. I just want to see improvement.

Can we beat someone we aren't supposed to? Anyone?

It's Sun...Wednesday Night with Turner's Take!!

What would a win mean this Saturday? What would a loss mean? We're obviously supposed to lose. So, does a close loss mean anything? I don't think so. I think it's either win or we haven't improved.

That doesn't mean that I will be down, discouraged or in any way feel like we are not on the right track. But a win would mean that we are improving. We have been needing to improve for a while now.

Neyland is an incredibly hard place to win, but we can win this game.

The difference in winning and losing this game is huge to me. Let me know your thoughts. Can we get after this freshman QB? Can we win this game?

It's Sunday Night with Turner's Take!!

Can I get a War Eagle, a WDE, anything?? How about a SEC win at home for a change. Call me crazy but I'm going to take this win and enjoy it. I'm going to enjoy a 3-1 start. I need some of you fans to get fired up, C'MON!!

So a lifelong friend hit me up. He and his wife had tickets and usually invite me every year to catch a game. The best of friends, and hey, how can I turn that down. We got caught up on life and enjoyed an Auburn football game together. Thanks Hal and Sara!!

Now to what we have. No need to blow smoke, no need to pretend we're back, no need to think this season is going to be all that and a bag of chips. We beat what is not a very good Vandy team. Hey, they had won 4 of the last 6, so I'm not diminishing the win. I just don't think Vandy is very good. And I'm still trying to figure out if we are.

Does this coaching staff have it in them to pull out a win over the next 4 games? Do they? Can they? I think we can win one of these games. I hope we go into Neyland Stadium and beat a Tennessee team that took Texas, the #1 team in the nation, down to the wire. I still believe. Do you? Do you think we can win any of the next 4. Or do we go 0-4 in October?

I feel this team is growing together. I think if we put it all together, we can win one of these.

I'd like to hear all the input from all of you. Give it to me. What do you think? Do we have any chance for a decent season?

It's Sun...uh, Tuesday Night with Turner's Take!!

I'm just going to make a few people mad. Hey, it's not all peachy keen on the Plains. This last game may have meant the difference in a winning season and a losing season. Be real. We have a very small margin for error. I said Sunday Night that we cannot lose to Vandy, listen, we CANNOT lose to Vandy. If we do, this season is lost even if we luck up against someone we're supposed to lose to.

But you have to realize one thing. Either give this coaching staff a chance, or shut up. We absolutely have to have some patience, give support, and get to the point that we understand not only how difficult it is to win, but also how much it cost.

I'm Auburn through and through, but we haven't won an SEC game in over 680 days in Jordan Hare. Think about that for a minute. We have to win this weekend to have any chance at a good season. It's a SEC opponent and we have to end that streak.

I hope no one takes me wrong with this post. I just see all the negative talk and yes, I realize how long it's been. But again, get on board, or get off. We all have our opinions, but to be negative, 3 games in, expecting a season that had no chance of happening, is delusional.

Let's beat Vandy this weekend and prepare for what is going to be a brutal part of the schedule.
