We’ve created a New RML Running Challenge ! It’s designed to help you improve your running, build your endurance, and stay consistent!

The challenge starts Thursday, October 8th and will lead us right up to the Turkey Trot on November 26th!

You DO NOT have to be doing the Turkey Trot to join us. This is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves and become a better runner.

The program will be a 3-day-per-week commitment that you can complete on your own or team up with other RML members in the challenge.

We’ll have TWO different options:

🏃 BEGINNER — Perfect if you’re brand new to running, haven’t run in a while, or want to gradually build up your endurance.

🏃 INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED — For those already running who want to improve their endurance, pace, and overall performance.

You don’t have to be fast. You don’t even have to consider yourself a “runner.”

Just show up, follow the plan, and see what you can accomplish!

Who’s interested ?!

“I was supposed to be here.”

Almost one year ago, Stephanie walked through our doors hesitant, nervous, and unsure if this was really for her.

Today, she’s stronger. She’s more confident. She’s accomplishing things she once didn’t think she could do , including going from needing help with her first sit-up to doing them completely on her own.

But what stood out to me most in this conversation wasn’t just how much stronger she has become.

It was this:

“All of a sudden, all these people are surrounding you with love and encouragement, and you’re like… I was supposed to be here.”

That’s what we want Reed’s Muscle Lab to be.

And if you’re reading this thinking, “I’d love to start, but I’m nervous… I’m not sure if I’m ready… or I don’t know if I’ll fit in,” I want you to know Stephanie once felt that way too.

Right now, our Fall Into Fitness Challenge gives you a chance to come experience RML, meet our community, and see how we can help you ,without feeling like you have to already be “in shape” to start.

If you’d like more information, comment below or message me “FALL INTO FITNESS” and I’ll send you the details.

🏆 CHAMPION OF THE MONTH — SHERRY! 🏆

Sherry has officially been part of the Muscle Lab family for a year, and her progress has been awesome to watch!

When she started, mobility restrictions, weaknesses and shoulder pain meant she often had to modify exercises while others around her could do more.

Instead of comparing herself, she stayed focused on her journey and kept showing up.

One year later, she’s stronger, more mobile, pain-free in her shoulder, more toned, and now lifting some of the same weights — and sometimes MORE — than those around her! 💪

Beyond her progress, Sherry is consistent, hardworking and always friendly to everyone in the gym.

That’s what Champion of the Month is all about.

Congratulations, Sherry! You earned it! 🏆💪

Finally getting a chance to make this post, but I couldn’t let the weekend go by without giving a HUGE shoutout to these three amazing ladies! 💪🔥

Different ages, different goals, different journeys — but all three showed what strength is really about Saturday.

First up, Mary!

The first video is Mary hitting a BIG deadlift PR. She didn’t want to know what was on the bar and thought it was about 20 pounds lighter… until she heard them announce the weight. 😂

Her eyes got HUGE and she gave me the, “You want me to lift WHAT?!” look.

I told her, “You can do it.”

She pushed the doubt aside and RIPPED it off the floor, finishing the day with a 657.8 lb PR total! 💪

Next up, Amy!

Powerlifting hasn’t even been her main focus lately. She’s been training for a big running race and putting in some 20-mile days, but she jumped into this meet to compete and have some fun.

Then she showed exactly why we keep strength training while chasing other goals — grinding through this bench and refusing to quit. 💪

And last, Jody!

At 66 years old, Jody competed in her FIRST powerlifting meet and hit personal-best weights on every lift!

This bench was also her first time EVER benching over 100 pounds. 🙌

There was a point where that bar almost stopped, but Jody had ZERO quit in her. She kept fighting until she finished the lift.

That’s the kind of strength I love seeing.

Believing in yourself when you’re unsure.
Trying something completely new at 66.
And refusing to quit when things get hard.

Mary, Amy and Jody ,you ladies crushed it Saturday, and I’m incredibly proud to have you representing Reed’s Muscle Lab!

Strong looks different on everyone and you three showed exactly what it looks like.

Also huge shoutout to Rachel, Becky and Jenn for coming out to support them!

“You inspire me in so many ways and saved me in more ways than you will ever know.”

Those were Mary’s words in a post she shared yesterday about her first year at Reed’s Muscle Lab. Reading her story really hit me.

A year ago, Mary walked through our doors during a difficult chapter of her life, looking for a place to rebuild, get stronger and find her footing again. She describes Reed’s Muscle Lab as a place where “the quality and integrity of the training and the strength and inclusivity of the community” have helped keep and sustain her.

That means a lot to me because Reed’s Muscle Lab has never just been about getting people through a workout. I wanted to build a place where people could come exactly as they are, be challenged and supported, become stronger and healthier, and hopefully find some really good people to do life with along the way.

Mary described us as “a family that celebrates each other, builds each other up, challenges each other and has so much fun together.”

I don’t think I could describe what I want this place to be any better than that.

Mary, thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be part of your journey. We’re grateful you walked through our doors a year ago, and even more grateful that you’ve become such an important part of this family.

And in Mary’s own words:

“One year later and I am stronger than ever in All The Ways.” 💪❤️

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 👏🎙️

One year ago, Jody walked through our doors looking to rebuild her strength after battling breast cancer and learning she had early osteopenia.

Today, at 66 years old, she’s preparing to compete in her very first powerlifting meet.

This isn’t just a story about lifting weights. It’s a story about courage, resilience, hope, and refusing to let life define your future.

You are never too old.
You are never too weak.
You are never too late.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Jody. 💚💪

One of the highlights from our One Year Anniversary Bash! 🎉

As part of the celebration, we gave away 6 months of personal training to one lucky winner.

Congratulations to Rachel Yoder! 👏

If you know Rachel, you know she’s one of the most selfless, kind, and giving people you’ll ever meet. She’s constantly encouraging others, showing up with a positive attitude, and putting everyone else before herself. When her name was drawn, we couldn’t have been happier. It truly felt like the right person received this gift.

Rachel, thank you for being such an important part of the Muscle Lab family. We can’t wait to be alongside you for the next six months as you continue getting stronger, healthier, and more confident. 💚

Congratulations again! We are so excited for you!
