Minor injuries suck — until they don’t.

This one’s been a reminder that rehab, patience, and showing up smarter can turn a setback into something useful. New blog up: *The Gift of Minor Injury*.

Another great judo class! 🥋

Thank you, Sensei Mohamed Daryoush, for visiting and training with us today.

Maverik gave me one of the hardest falls of my life, and then I accidentally repaid the favor. Maybe we should both get better at pulling up on the arm 😂

Judo is every Saturday at 10:05 AM, with open mat right after. Come throw with us!

Fourth stripe locked in. 🎉

Moments like this are why kids class hits different — a little tape on the belt, a big smile, and a room full of teammates cheering them on.

Proud of every bit of hard work that got this white belt here. Kids BJJ in Pleasanton builds grit, respect, and confidence that shows up on and off the mats.

Curious what your kid could do here? Book a free trial at groundrulesacademy.com — we’d love to have you on the mats.
