Hope Valley Country Club has a long and revered history both in Durham and North Carolina. Its Donald Ross golf course was one of the few that Ross personally supervised during its construction. In 2003, the course underwent a significant restoration using Ross’s original drawings now archived in Pinehurst. Saying “chau, nos vemos” (goodbye, for now) to our favorite Racquet Professional, Juan Rivas! Thank you to all who participated in our sendoff party this Wednesday. Juan was a favorite among our junior players for his relatable banter and youthful exuberance. Juan made such an impact on our racquets program and we are sorry to see him go. We are wishing him all the best back in Argentina and hope to see him back in Hope Valley sometime very soon!

Congratulations to on their State Championship Title over the weekend! Sam Hertzog and Holland Hughes are a part of this team which won its first state championship in school history!
Sam was awarded for Most Valuable Player as a sophomore, accomplishing 37 wins this season - a school record! Join us in congratulating these two awesome HV Junior players and the DA Men’s Tennis program on their incredible accomplishment!

We had a blast with our HVCC Ladies yesterday at our Mother’s Day Mixer! 19 ladies joined us for cardio tennis, bouquet arranging and mimosas 🎾💐🥂
