Explore Hope Valley Country Club, a member-owned private club since 1926. Our tennis facilities feature seven har-tru (soft) and two hard courts.

Hope Valley Country Club has a long and revered history both in Durham and North Carolina. Its Donald Ross golf course was one of the few that Ross personally supervised during its construction. In 2003, the course underwent a significant restoration using Ross’s original drawings now archived in Pinehurst. August was a really, really fun month at Hope Valley Country Club! ☀️⛳️

From great times on the course to wonderful events, delicious food, and plenty of moments spent with friends and family, August gave us so much to enjoy.

We are proud to support Durham Junior Cotillion a local private organization of 40 years offering etiquette classes at HVCC starting September 15th for 4-8th graders. Classes are taught by our two long time members Margaret Vermillion and Mary Lloyd Preble. They focus on etiquette, table manners, social skills, and social dancing. We are proud to partner with this wonderful resource and community outreach to provide the next generation with the skills to be confident and succeed.
