From 2 to now turning 5 ain’t nothing changed but you having a bigger heart. You were born sassy and sweet, wearing your heart on your sleeve at such a young age and it’s mind blowing.
I pray God continues to protect that pure heart of yours and guide me through this journey of ups and downs so you have less downs and more ups.

Long post but please read if you struggle with weight loss!

When I stopped obsessing over what my body looked like or didn't look like but instead focused on changing my habits, my body ACTUALLY changed. I started with my new trainer, Jon, in April 2021... thinking I knew what needed to be done. The irony though❗️ If I knew what needed to be done why get a trainer 🤷🏾♀️ but I digress.
Anyway, Jon, gave me all the tools. Told me to make sure I stayed active on my own, to eat right (because you can't outwork a bad diet), minimize stress, etc. Honestly I didn't listen then. I focused on doing those restrictive diets which would cause me to binge as soon as the diet was over. 😫 I was super stressed at work and would literally leave my workout to go to somebody's drive thru. I didn't push myself in my workouts because I dreaded them. I definitely did nothing outside of training with Jon. My body went in the opposite direction. 😩
But in November Jon asked me to attend his group class which I was scared of. Everyone in there seemed so focused and strong. I attended a class and surprised myself. Like I kept up. 😊 I didn't take the 50 million water breaks I take during my one on one sessions. Jon also recommended a detox that essentially helped me with my eating regiment. He also continued to tell me to make sure I stay active outside of training with him.
In November I took these pictures on the right. I did the detox in November. I joined his group sessions in December in addition to my one on one sessions. In January I began to workout on my off days from his gym. In Jan I detoxed again and my eating regiment changed drastically. I mean you can't detox once in 34 years and expect a change! You have to detox a few times a year. In February I saw results. I dropped 15lbs. 😳 I became more intentional in March. In April I pushed to be active 6 days a week. Finally in May I became active everyday while still being intentional with my eating. Not being restrictive where I'm unhappy.
