NEW CYCLE STARTS NEXT WEEK!🔥

📅 October 26 – December 20 | 8 Weeks

We’ve spent the last cycle building strength. Now it’s time to put that strength to work. 💪

This next 8-week cycle challenges us to bring everything together: strength, gymnastics, barbell cycling, and high-intensity conditioning. The goal? Maintain movement quality while pushing our capacity to work harder, move efficiently, and perform under fatigue.

Here’s the breakdown:

🏋️ Weeks 1–6: Build volume, positional strength, gymnastics capacity, and conditioning.

🔄 Week 7: Reload, reduce accumulated fatigue, and prepare for testing.

🏆 Week 8: Test Week! Revisit key strength, conditioning, and barbell cycling benchmarks to see what you’ve built.

Then we’ll transition into two lower-pressure weeks to recover and get ready for our next cycle, starting January 4.

Check out the website blog in our bio for more details and if you're not a member, fill out the free intro form to join the fun to finish the year strong!!

Let’s get to work, Fit Lab!

💪 PUT THE WORK IN. SEE THE RESULTS 🔥

Nine weeks. Countless reps. And a whole lot of hard work.

Our latest strength cycle focused on the deadlift, bench press, and back squat, and last week, our members got to see what all that consistency added up to. New PRs, stronger lifts, and progress worth celebrating!

The results don't happen overnight. They come from showing up, putting in the reps, trusting the process, and getting a little better every week.

Huge shoutout to everyone who put in the work this cycle! 👊

You showed up. You did the work. Now celebrate the results!

Who's ready for the next cycle? 🔥

You don't have to count every bite to make progress with your nutrition.

Let's make this simple!

Building a balanced plate doesn't have to mean weighing every ingredient, tracking every calorie, or stressing over whether you ate the “right” thing.

Start with a few basics:

🍗 Include a protein source.
🥔 Add carbohydrates to fuel your body.
🥦 Incorporate fruits or vegetables.
🥑 Include healthy fats.

That's it. A simple starting point, not another set of rules to follow perfectly.

Your portions will vary depending on your needs, activity, hunger, and goals. You don't have to make every meal look the same, either!

The goal isn't perfection. It's learning how to nourish your body consistently. 🤍

🥑 Eating all day but STILL hungry? Let's talk about it.

Before you assume you need to eat less, take a look at what you're actually eating!

Sometimes, feeling hungry between meals can be a sign that your meals need a little more balance.

Here's what to consider:

🍗 Protein: Are you including a quality protein source with your meals?

🥦 Fiber: Are you eating fruits, vegetables, and other fiber-rich foods?

🥑 Healthy fats: Are you including foods like avocado, nuts, seeds, or olive oil?

🍽️ Enough food: Are you eating enough to support your activity level and your body's needs?

Remember, hunger is normal! Your goal shouldn't be to ignore your body's signals. It's to learn how to nourish yourself well.

Small, consistent changes can make a big difference. 🤍

💪 RETEST WEEK INCOMING!

Eight weeks of hard work are about to get put to the test. 🔥

Our members have spent the last 8 weeks building strength, working on technique, and putting in the reps. We’ll be retesting the same lifts from Week 1 and seeing what those 8 weeks of consistent paid off.

The goal isn’t just a bigger number. It’s seeing progress, celebrating the work, and finding out what you’re capable of when you stick with the plan.

You put in the work. Now let’s see the results. 👊

🏈 FOOTBALL + FRIENDS AT THE LAB

We’re hanging out tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th from 12:00–3:30 PM!

We’ll have a few games on the big screens, plus snacks and drinks to enjoy while we hang out. Bring your favorite snack or drink if you want, and rep your team if you’ve got one!

And you definitely don’t have to be a football fan to come hang out. Stop by for the whole afternoon or swing through for 30 minutes to say hey, grab a snack, and catch up with the crew.

No workout required. No football knowledge required. Just good people and a good time.

Come for the games. Stay for the community.

We’d love to see you at The Lab!

PROTEIN ISN’T JUST FOR MUSCLE 💪🏼

When you think about protein, you might think “building muscle.”

But protein does SO much more.

✨ Helps keep you fuller between meals
✨ Supports muscle recovery & growth
✨ Helps maintain lean muscle while losing fat
✨ Supports healthy hair, skin & nails
✨ Gives your body the building blocks it needs to repair and function well

And one of the easiest ways to improve your nutrition? Start your day with protein.

Instead of coffee + a quick carb, try pairing your breakfast with a quality protein source:

🥚 Eggs + sourdough toast
🥣 Greek yogurt + berries
🍳 Eggs + chicken sausage
🥤 Protein smoothie + fruit
🥑 Cottage cheese + avocado toast

You don’t need a perfect diet. You need consistent habits that support your goals.

Start with one meal. Add protein. Build from there. 🤍

❤️ What’s Your Favorite Fit Lab Memory?

We asked our members to answer one simple question:

“What’s your favorite memory at Fit Lab?”

And the answers were pretty awesome. 🥹

Meeting new friends.
Hitting a PR they never thought was possible.
Getting through COVID together.
Having a place to look forward to every day.
Doing something they never would have done if they hadn’t joined.
The socials, the laughs, the hard workouts, the small wins, and all the moments in between.

It’s easy to think a gym is just a place to work out. But when you look at these answers, it’s pretty clear that it’s about a whole lot more than the workouts.

It’s the people. The experiences. The challenges. The friendships. The feeling of being part of something.

So now we want to hear from you:

What’s your favorite memory at Fit Lab?

Or, if you’re not a Fit Lab member, what’s your favorite memory from your current gym?

Drop it in the comments. 👇

IT'S OCTOBER, don't Wait for January to Get Back on Track!!

The holidays aren't here quite yet, but life is already starting to speed up.

Schedules get busier. Work gets hectic. Travel starts creeping onto the calendar. Football, holidays, family events, end-of-year deadlines... suddenly your routine looks very different.

And this is exactly when people start saying:

“I'll get back into it after the holidays.”

Here's the problem: a few months of inconsistency can turn into a much harder restart.

Instead of trying to be perfect through the busy season, focus on maintaining your routine.

You don't need to hit every workout.
You don't need a perfect diet.
You don't need to PR every week.

You need to keep showing up.

🏋️‍♀️ Train when you can.
🥩 Prioritize protein and real food.
💧 Stay hydrated.
😴 Protect your sleep when possible.
🚶 Keep moving outside the gym.
📅 Plan your workouts before the week gets away from you.

Consistency doesn't mean doing everything perfectly.

It means not letting a busy season turn into a lost season.

And if you've been waiting for the "right time" to start training, there probably isn't going to be one. Start now, build the habit, and you'll head into January with momentum instead of starting from zero.

Don't wait for January. Build the routine now.

If you're looking for some structure, accountability, and a place to train, send us a DM or book a No Sweat Intro through our website link in our bio.
