We are extremely proud of the SAA Dixie Youth alum that are currently having great success at our local middle and high school programs. Our success rate of the players that have come through our program speaks for itself. These players have made big impacts on our local middle and high school programs. Not only do the coaches teach the correct fundamentals of the game, but they are preparing your child for the mental and situational aspect of baseball that is required to be successful in middle and high school.

Feels good to be home! Thank you to all that made this opening ceremony a great day despite the rain. Thankful to the county and their support as well as all our parent volunteers, and high school volunteers that stepped up and gave a hand. Thank you doesn’t cut it. Grateful for our community.

Takes a village is an understatement. So many behind the scenes jobs that go into running a non-profit organization. Here are some of the faces that helped make tomorrow possible. Big shout out to Bryan Foster Construction for putting up our new and exciting sponsor signs and Sign Source for printing them. We are very excited to add this touch to our fields. And many thanks are due to the countless volunteers that make up our Shalimar village. Just know you are very appreciated. Go big green! We can’t wait for our kids to feel the energy behind the preparations for our fields this season. 💚

Shout out to our Football Director John Cagle and Boomer coaches Joe Carrillo and Ryland Tondini for setting the lines and painting the fields to prep for our home field opener tomorrow. Thankful for these volunteers who give up the time from their loved ones and their night off from football to make sure our players have a great place to play ball.

Congratulations to swimmer Carilyn Allgood on being named Choctawhatchee Athlete of the Week for August 17-22!
Carilyn won the 200 Freestyle at the Choctawhatchee Freestyle Invite and played a key role in the success of both the 200 and 400 relays.
