We’re on a Mission! 💥

We clocked in for our final All-Star practice before the 2026 Girls Division Playoffs at our home venue, The Hangar.

This is a special moment for us. We’ve had the honor of hosting the playoffs in 2024, 2025, and now again in 2026. Hosting this event gives leagues across the Girls Division a place to compete at a high level, while showcasing one of the most unique derby settings around. From the beautiful white sand beaches of the Florida Panhandle to the planes soaring overhead day and night, there’s truly nothing else like it. 🏖️ ✈️

Our team is ready for an incredible weekend of roller derby on the Panhandle. They’ve put in the work, dedicated countless hours, and earned their place on this bracket. We couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see them compete.

Here is a little background information on The Ant Sir!

My name is Anthony McKinney, aka The Ant Sir and this is my 12th roller derby season.

What an honor it is to THR the Fort Walton Beach JRDA playoffs bracket. FWB is my hometown and I’m excited to have y’all here.

I’ve been an early childhood educator for over 20 years now helping teach kids right from wrong. It came natural to then officiate the youth on the track and helping them learn teamwork, skill, technique and pushing to overcome adversity.

We are all in for a thrilling weekend of JRDA competition. 👏🏼

💙Ad Astra Junior Roller Derby is a co-ed group of young people aged 7-17 who enjoy the competition and camaraderie of roller derby. Skaters meet twice a week at Sk8away in Topeka, Ks, to practice their skills and push toward greatness!

⭐️ Here is a little background about Mischief Manager:

She started her journey to officiating by helping kids learn the rules for their level testing with Columbia Junior Rollers. In 2018 she started NSOing games and scrimmages. This lead to a full schedule NSOing and being a crew head for several tournaments and sanctioned play games. She has officiated at the JRDA Playoff level and had years of knowledge. We feel honored to have her be the JRDA Playoff Head NSO!

We are all in for a thrilling weekend of JRDA competition. 👏🏼
