Building the team for the 2027 HYROX season.
Over the next few months we’ll be putting together a group that’s serious about training, competing, and pushing each other to get better. Whether it’s your first HYROX or you’re chasing a new PR, there’s a spot for you.
We’ll train together, compete together, and head to races as a team.
If you’ve been thinking about doing HYROX in 2027, send us a DM and we’ll get you started.
HYROX tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
If you’ve been wanting to try it, tomorrow’s a great day to jump in. No experience needed, just show up ready to work.
If you’ve been coming, let’s keep building. See you at Rise.
Different by design
This block is all about building athleticism that transfers to the court.
The high knee into a front lunge, back to a high knee, then into a lateral lunge teaches athletes to control their body in multiple planes of motion. Tennis isn’t just forward and backward, it’s lateral movement, deceleration, balance, and re-acceleration. This drill improves single-leg stability, hip mobility, coordination, and the ability to produce force from awkward positions.
Next, we move into band-assisted split jumps. The band reduces body weight just enough to let the athlete move faster and more explosively while reinforcing proper jumping mechanics. We’re training the nervous system to produce force quickly, improving rate of force development, lower-body power, and reactive ability, all of which help with the first step and explosive movement around the court.
Finally, we finish with alternating rotational wall slams. Tennis is a rotational sport, so power doesn’t just come from the arm, it starts at the ground, transfers through the hips and core, and finishes through the upper body. These slams develop rotational power, sequencing, coordination, and the ability to transfer force efficiently, leading to harder serves, more powerful groundstrokes, and better overall athletic performance.
Every exercise has a purpose. We’re not just making athletes tired, we’re building stronger, faster, and more efficient movers.
