Really good transition drill for those that struggle with an out to in path. You can see a quick change in delivery in this student and we did not touch the arms or the club. Path went from 6 left to 0 really quick. turtleson

Online coaching and instruction continues to get better and better as technology improves. This player has stayed on a plan for the last 8 months with a few tweaks and made great progress. Ball control, power and shot making have all improved along with consistency in scoring.

TRENT knocking one down here. He has done a great job of cleaning up his set up to gain control of his start lines. Got to play a few holes with him today as he was in town for a check up on his way to Mexico Open at VidantaWorld PGA Tour

Tour Tempo is a quality app for getting your swing synced up. I am testing it here as I always try things before I suggest them to players. Lots to learn as you get in a rhythm and get out of swing thoughts and mechanics. It is a great bridge after working on technique to find the flow. Tempo is the glue. turtleson

Recentering is one of the critical moves that amateurs really struggle with for a multitude of reasons. It starts with proper loading. In this clip, the student has cleaned up the load in the takeaway and is struggling with downswing sequence. In most cases, the center of the pelvis moves laterally while the upper body is still coiling. It’s a dynamic move, but it can be learned. Henrik Norlander Matt Atkins Greyson Sigg show the move here. Everyone does it a little different, but it something I am always paying close attention to in competitive players. turtleson

Are you practicing putting? Practice what has the most influence on holing putts.

A view many of us don’t see very often. I prefer to focus on hip/pelvis depth rather than rotation as it is really important for me to have space for my arms and hands to swing. The great players all have the lead hip deeper than the lead ankle at impact creating freedom for the club to move through. Success leaves clues! turtleson

has been putting in the work. Lots of focus lately on keeping the trail arm in front on the takeaway. Checking lots of boxes on swing positions. Staying locked in on one piece is difficult as the distraction of an errant shot relative to your skill level comes in. The errant shot is part of the process, it’s gonna happen, hard game. Master one thing at a time, however long it takes. I have made the mistake of trying to do too much at once. Players tend to think they can handle a lot, but that swing recipe gets confusing when you got more than a couple things going on in a 1.5 second motion.
