We had a great turnout for our 3rd ESGC Halloween Hayride. Over 264 riders joined us for fun and fright. We want to send a big thank you out to Dana Holt for organizing our chaos and our Hayride drivers, Rodney "Big R" Holt, Michael Birkeness and Jeff Deason. Take a look at all the fun and spooky stops along the ride from our amazing volunteers who make this whole thing possible. We're getting better every year. Can't wait for even more fun next year. Also, a shout out to Mother Nature for providing the most perfect evening. 🎃 👻 🎃👻

Today is the day! Happy Halloween Hayride at the ESGC. We are looking forward to welcoming our over 160 pre-registered hayriders to fill up our event. Please check in at the Pavilion when you arrive. There are 10 stops on the ride with tricks and treats for all. Looks like mother nature has provided a perfect day but we will still have Chili and Hot Chocolate available for purchase.

We had an interesting visitor stop by the golf course today. John Routh, is the great-GRANDSON of Alex Ross, the very first golf professional at the Excelsior Sorings Golf Course. So nice to meet John and his wife and hear about the connection to ES.

Happy 111th birthday to the ESGC!

Opening October 16, 1915 under the direction of golf pro Alex Ross. His wife Martha, renowned for her English scones, ran the restaurant in the original building.

Today we celebrated with a re-creation of Mrs. Ross’ scones thanks to our friend and member Merri Dillinger.

Happy birthday, ESGC!
