Moose Mountain

The annual Mowing of the Moose is under way this week and next. Please avoid mowers if you see one.

We mow annually to provide the smoothest, stubble and rock free surface possible, allowing us to open earlier than most northwestern and Alaska ski areas.

As of today, we feel we are half finished, with the entire black bear bowl mowed, Northern Light and most of Alpenglow, All of Sundance and Solar Coaster.

Looking forward to a "normal" season with 55+ shred days and plenty of soft dry snow and above zero afternoons. Our discount season pass sale starts October 1 and runs through Halloween.

We want to thank our Ski Patrol, lodge employees, bus drivers, groomers, mechanic and CUSTOMERS for sticking with us during the 2025 - 2026 season. It was a record cold one! Thank you all!!
