Der Sommer ist in manchen Teilen Alaskas noch lange nicht angekommen. Hier ein Bild der Brooks Range vom 7.Juni dieses Jahres.
Fluesse noerdlich des Polarkreises sollten nicht vor dem 20. Juni angegangen werden.
Conditions in the Brooks Range are still kind of on the wintery side. Location is between the North Fork of the Koyukuk and the Wild River on June 7th. Warmer weather is forecasted to start in 4 days

In vielen Teilen Alaskas beginnt das Fruehjahr erst jetzt.
Eisschollen haven sich verblockt und der riesige Rueckstau des Yukon River hat viele Doerfer und Waelder oberhalb des Staus ueberflutet.
Ein trauriger Beginn des Sommers...
