🏒✨ Volunteers Needed for Golden Days Hockey Float! ✨🏒

The Golden Days Parade is just around the corner, and we’re excited to showcase our interior hockey community with an incredible float! We are celebrating our love for hockey, our community, and Alaska’s Golden Heart spirit.

We can’t do it without YOU!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
🏒 Building the float
⭐ Decorating and adding creative touches
🇺🇸 Setting up before the parade
🎉 Walking alongside the float during the parade
💙 Making this a fun and memorable experience for our hockey families and community

Whether you have a few hours to spare or can help throughout the project, we’d love to have you on the team. No special skills are needed just a willingness to pitch in and have fun!

What an incredible achievement and a proud moment for our hockey community. Landon’s journey is especially inspiring for our young skaters he began skating at just 3 years old through our Ice Puppies program, and through years of dedication, hard work, and passion for the game, he has reached the highest level of opportunity in the sport.

His story is a reminder to all our players: dreams really can grow from the first time you step on the ice. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep believing in what’s possible.

We’re excited to announce our 6U Ice Puppies coaching staff for the 2026-2027 season!

Leading the way as Head Coach is Lizzie Decker, whose passion for helping young players learn and love the game makes her a perfect fit for our youngest athletes. Lizzie brings energy, encouragement, and a fun-first approach to every practice and game.

Joining her on the bench are Assistant Coaches Joe Decker and Bryan Kuhn. Together, this group is dedicated to creating a positive environment focused on growth, confidence, teamwork, and developing a love for hockey from the very beginning.

We can’t wait to see the Ice Puppies hit the ice this season! 🥅
