RFD is proud to host the NVSL Divisionals Swim Meet on Saturday, July 25!

Divisionals is one of the biggest events of our swim season—and one of RFD’s most important fundraising opportunities. Hosting a successful meet takes the support of our entire pool community, and we need volunteers to help with parking, concessions, hospitality, setup, cleanup, and other essential roles.

Rutherford Area Swim Club closed at approximately 1:30 PM today after air-quality conditions worsened and the AQI returned to Code Red levels.

We delayed opening until noon because forecasts indicated conditions would improve below the Code Red threshold. Unfortunately, the AQI later increased above 160.

The pool will remain closed until the AQI is safe and forecasted to stay that way. We will continue monitoring official AirNow readings and will provide an update before reopening.

Thank you for your understanding. The safety of our swimmers, members, and staff remains our highest priority.

Noodle Bowls are BACK for Monday’s B Meet!! Come down to cheer on Rutherford Water Rats at the B meet tomorrow ( Monday ) evening! Be sure to grab Phuong’s famous Noodle Bowls, an NVSL fan favorite!! These were a hit when we hosted All Star Relays 2 years ago!

If you don’t have dinner plans tomorrow, Sunday, please come down to the pool from 5:30 to 7:30 for dinner. Phuong’s famous noodle bowls and summer rolls will be available for purchase for $8.

We will have hot dogs and burgers available for purchase as well. $5 for the hamburger meal. $6 for the cheeseburger meal. $4 for a hot dog meal.

There was a lot of extra food from the All Star Relay being rained on Wednesday day. Please help us by having dinner with us tomorrow.

While the country celebrates its 250th anniversary, our pool is celebrating its 60th birthday. Join us from 12–3 PM (and of course, stay as long as you’d like!) for an afternoon of fun.

2:00 - Volleyball Game (Teens vs. Adults!)

3:00 - PM Belly Flop Contest

We'll cook up the burgers and dogs - you bring the rest!
