Hello all, fantastic weather tomorrow for a 'drive-n-ride' gravel adventure! We make our annual pilgrimage to Brighton, IA to explore the backroads of Stephanie Wharton and Jennifer Wharton's childhood. BTW, great turnout last Saturday for the 'Witches and Wizards' ride. Thanks, Stephanie, for putting that together and we'll do it again next year.

We depart Brighton City Park, (right next to the BP Amoco on Hwy. 78), at 1:30pm tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 25th. All routes end back at the park.

The Routes: 14.9, 21.3 and 35.3 miles

Hello all, just a reminder that the 'Witches and Wizards' ride will be this Saturday, Oct. 17th at 6:30pm, starting at the town square pavilion. We will do this ride instead of Sunday Gravel this week. So, dress up if you can, get your lights and flashers and join us for a nice, spooky evening ride about town.

Oh yeah, it's Halloween time so there's free candy at the shop! Mmmm, Chocolate!

Hello all, not doing a Sunday ride this weekend because we'll, (my family and I), be doing a sponsored ride on the High Trestle Trail near Des Moines. It's put on by local Fairfieldian James Freeman and his law firm. It's a super cool, chill event with catering and safety tips. Several other local riders will be going as well. If you're thinking about a cycling destination ride this weekend it's worth the drive. RSVP to [email protected] if you're going so they can adjust catering needs.
