*DEADLINE TODAY* Would you like some free native trees via Fairfax County, approximately 8–10 feet tall? Nothing is guaranteed, but if you’d like to be considered, email Bryan (board rep) at [email protected] by midnight tonight (8/21) with: 1)Your first and second choice of tree (use the common tree name), 2) Your name and address 3) How many trees you’d like (no more than 3, please, so we can spread the love!)
To see trees available, see this link: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/publicworks/trees/tree-distribution-program . If we’re selected, the trees will be delivered to a central location in the neighborhood later this fall, and you’ll need to arrange getting your tree home and planting it. The Board may be able to connect you with someone who can help with delivery for a fee paid directly to them.
If this round doesn’t work out, we’ll try again in the spring!
