It’s Officially Been One Year!

I’ve been so busy in the day to day of running the gym that I didn’t even know that Tuesday was 1 year since we ran our first training session

It was June 9th 2025 at 8am with Cam Carver and Evan Carver

It’s been quite a year. A lot of early mornings, late evenings, lack of sleep, money spent, events missed, stress, joy, fun, laughs, sweat, headaches, and everything in between. If you name I probably felt it over this past year.

You never really know everything that goes into running a small business until you actually do it. It is definitely not easy. But no matter what happens we keep moving forward and have been growing month by month.

I want to thank everyone for all of their support in every way during this first year.

One year down, many more to come!

If you’re nervous about starting strength training, you’re not alone.

I know what it feels like to walk into a gym and think:
➡️ “I’m too weak.”
➡️ “Everyone is going to judge me.”
➡️ “I have no idea what I’m doing.”

The truth is, every strong person you see today started somewhere. They had a first workout. A first day in the gym. A first set that felt hard.

Nobody starts confident. Confidence comes from showing up, learning, and proving to yourself that you’re capable.

Strength training isn’t about being perfect. It’s about becoming a little stronger than you were yesterday.

Don’t let fear stop you from becoming a stronger and healthier version of yourself.

If you’ve been thinking about getting started, send me a message. I’d be happy to help you take that first step.

Making Upgrades!

The turf in the gym was thinning, had holes, and was coming up at the seams. I spent last weekend at the gym ripping up the old turf and replacing it.

About 6 weeks ago I also acquired an air bike which has already been put to good use.

Last weekend I also acquired a row erg from

I also recently acquired a hand grip dynamometer so we are able to test and track improvement in grip strength.

On the non training side, I also acquired a brand new high powered vacuum to replace the old vacuum to help maintain the cleanliness of the gym floor

I’m constantly making investments to make sure the entirety of your training experience is nothing short of top tier.

If you’ve been in the gym you’ve seen our fueling station.

Every product goes through “rigorous” taste testing before it makes it to the fridge or shelf.

Let’s just say this one didn’t make the cut…

If you’re a woman over 50….
LIFT THE DAMN WEIGHTS.

Things like pilates is great, yoga is awesome, this isn’t a one vs the other conversation.

However the health benefits you receive from lifting relative heavy things cannot be replaced. Things like improved bone health and reduced risk of osteoporosis.

Gaining and maintaining strength and muscle mass which in turn lets you do things like get off a chair, carry groceries and do other daily tasks without assistance.

Things like improved metabolic health and easier weight management due to the thermogenic effects of weight training and improved muscle mass.

These are things you can only really get consistently from weight training.

You don’t need to be a powerlifter (unless you what to of course), but 2-3 days per week of strength training will go a long way to improving your health and longevity.
